Such a powerful memorial. I hope and pray that it serves to guide and teach us all to embrace peace, and to love each other. Hugs to you, dear friends.
Thanks so much for sharing these memorial pictures. I haven't seen it before. It's so hard to understand and accept events like that but I hope the memorial brings a little bit of peace to those whose lives were affected.
Thank you for the visit to the Oklahoma Memorial. I remember that horrible day and the weeks afterward. I find the memorial, the chairs, so fitting, and very moving. I never saw the spray painted message and I'm glad they kept it. All those children, how could people ever recover?
This is really beautiful. Too many tragedies happening during our lifetimes. These photos are wonderful, I love that last shot with the leaf in the forefront of the photo - something very somber about it. Thanks for sharing. Love & Biscuits, Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them

ReplyDeleteI've been here. Very well done museum. The chairs are really powerful, and it's a timely issue in this misplaced fear culture.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen that before.
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs to those affected

It looks like a very peaceful place. I hope those closely affected by this awful tragedy can find some peace there.

I remember reading about this memorial when it opened. I thought those empty chairs were such an eloquent reminder of what our country lost that day.
